Hey, Batta, Batta...

In t-ball, you can't strike out, which is a good thing if it's your kid up there...but by the time the 15th kid (yes, really) gets several tries at the tee, you're about ready for a few strikes to be thrown in there. Anna really swings hard. During last week's game, the coaches backed up the kids at her second at-bat because she'd hit it so well the first time. The coaches stand at the bases in t-ball to make sure the kids know where to run, and usually they hold out their hands for the kids to give them a "five." The coaches never fail to laugh and shake their hands out after Anna gives them her all-powerful super five. Craig clearly made contact with the ball on this one, though I think he was thrown out at first. I love the look of determination on his face at the plate. Too bad I never see that look when I ask him to clean up his room or take out the recycling.
