Waffles, sharks, and boats

The kids sometime fight as kids do, but in truth they are pretty good to each other. Craig ate the last of the yogurt the other day at breakfast because he woke up first. So, I had to tell Anna she'd need to wait until the next day. Craig felt so sorry for her that he told her, "I'll scrape up the last few bites of yogurt from my cup and give it to you, Anna." And he did! In turn, she's devastated if he's hurt or crying because he did something he wasn't supposed to. "Why Craiggy crying, Mommy," she says with a forlorn look. They often riff off of each other's conversations, too. We were eating waffles and Craig had bitten his on both sides, held it up and proclaimed, "Look, it's a shark!" Anna held up hers, and said, "'Ook. It's a boat. In the night." Posted by Hello
