Dinosaurs were around even before Dad!

I got the cutest book from the library the other day called, "Yoga Bear," a yoga book for kids! Anna loves it, "I do yoga, mama!" Photos of her efforts are below! Craig like it, too, but not enough to be photographed doing it.

One of the photos below is of Pete and Craig watching, "The Builders," AKA "This Old House." If Craig doesn't nap and ends up going to bed before it's on, Pete tapes it and they watch it together the next night or on the weekend. Some serious male bonding and lots of question-asking goes on.

And speaking of questioning--anyone who knows Craig knows he practically started asking why before he started eating solid food, but his questions are now widening in range. Sometimes he'll ask a serious question such as, "Who gives a ticket to a police guy if he's going to fast? Another police guy?" and others are really truly wondering, "Why don't bagels have feet?" and some are just plain ridiculous (on the phone,) "Gramma Gayle, would you like to say hello to my new wheelbarrow?" When Lauryn (the sitter) and her friend came over today, he suddenly turned into a total enginerd--spouting numbers and dinosaurs all over the place: "Lauryn, did you know that a velociraptor could tear up a plant-eating dinosaur in *no* minutes? This book has *ten* whole pages about dinosaurs. Did you know this kind of dinosaur could run *eight* miles and was around EVEN before my DAD was born?" (That last one is a classic!)

I just had to include a photo of Anna in red--red clothes, red doll, and red bag!The book she has in her lap is her current favorite. It's a Finding Nemo song book--each page has lyrics and there is a corresponding button to press that plays a little electronic tune. The lyrics are rip offs of classic tunes--"The search for Nemo goes round and round," to the tune of the "Wheels on the Bus." The worst part is that I've sung the rip-off lyrics so many times that I no longer no the real words of the songs!
