Here are a few of the treats we've made in the last week or two. The first 2 are mostly pictured for my friend Karen because we were talking about cookies turning out the way you want them to. The green and white pinwheel cookies finally turned out how they were supposed to. And I just liked how the chocolate oreo bonbon pops looked in the box. Craig and Pete made us reindeer treats for lunch one day, a treat that Craig had learned at school and wanted to surprise us with at home. The last photo is one of a coffee cake that I made as a "practice" for one that I made on Christmas day. Anna wanted to help, and I gave her half a cup of pecan halves and told her to put them on the top. I figured that she would just scatter them randomly, which is likely what I would have done, but all on her own she made these little pecan "flowers," each with 3 petals. I thought it really made the cake look special.
