What was amazing to me was how quickly all the grown-ups slipped into our roles as aunts and uncles. Anytime we went somewhere (which required the use of at least 3 cars, if not more) Anna and Craig would take turns riding with different aunts and uncles. The night that Pete's band played, Jackson stayed with me. Uncle Derek and Uncle Arie played football outside with the kids all weekend. Aunt Jaime fed the goats at the petting farm with Anna, and Aunt Andrea listened to Anna read. Even though we don't see each other very often, we jumped right in!
