Pete took the day off, as he does every year on the kids' birthdays. Anna wanted to go to the Zoo. This will not surprise you, as she went to the zoo last year as well as the year before. The treat this year was that there were THREE baby polar bears. Two twins and a single baby, and we heard all about it, in very adult language. She cracks us up all the time with her big words. She sometimes uses them correctly. For example, today when she was explaining the game Zingo to her grandma, she was explaining that everyone got individual game boards. On the other hand--when she didn't like something that I said to her about acting appropriately, she said, "Now, Mom, be suspectful!"
