You've never seen so many pictures taken of a cookie! Luckily for you, I'll only share 2 of them here! These are cookies made in my new pizzelle iron that I got from Pete's folks for my birthday! The real reason I have been wanting one is because I have a recipe for stroopwafels that calls for making fresh pizzelles and sandwiching a caramel filling between them. But, as you will see from the next set of photos, they make terrific ice cream dishes and accompaniments. (Haven't tried the stroopwafels yet, but I *am* dreaming about them.)
