Craig's birthday card for Pete warrants its own entry. He knew that Pete wanted to go to the baseball game that day and eat a kielbasa with toppings...and that Pete had been disappointed that last time we were at the game we hadn't caught a foul ball (we'd had great seats.) So, here is a drawing of his dad at the baseball game with a kielbasa (topped with relish and mustard) and a foul ball in his other hand. Below is a bat, a ball, and his name. What I liked about it was that he thought of everything all by himself and that it was a thoughtful card for his dad!
