The Indianapolis Zoo

The Indianapolis Zoo was a lot of fun. It was more like the Toledo Zoo than the Detroit Zoo in that the animals seemed a lot closer together. We saw a very active polar bear. Anna will tell you all about him if you ask her. We also saw a dolphin show, which is one of the kids' favorite parts of the trip. We were lucky enough to show up when they were letting people feed the giraffes, so the kids tried that (see photos.) I had a lot of fun teasing Craig (who actually really and truly fed the thing!) that now he smelled like giraffe spit. Craig took the photo of Anna and Pete and the elephant. Guess he gets the head-cropping skills from his mother.
